If you would enjoy a true small town, home style Holiday, visit Red Wing. The day after Thanksgiving visit for the Holiday Stroll. Downtown Red Wing is decked out with lights, carolers, street food vendors, and many great shops to find unique holiday gifts. Return the first Saturday in December for the Bed and Breakfast Open House. Grand homes dating back to 1874 will be beautifully decorated. You can visit 5 B&B’s along with the historic St. James Hotel.

Red Wing, MN. is offering a wide range of activities. Would a river cruise to view bald eagles be of interest? Perhaps your preference is a historic trolley tour. How many of you would like to see how Red Wing Shoes are made. A factory tour is available. Sipping local produced wine while eating a gourmet wood fired pizza is yours at Falconer Vineyards. How about live comedy with Tim Allen? This is but a few of the many activities to enjoy when visiting Red Wing this summer.
April will be a fun month in Red Wing, Minnesota. The historic Sheldon Theatre will host A Flea in Her Ear. This live play has all the elements of being quite entertaining. It is presented on April 10, 16, and 18. The Sheldon Brass Band will perform on the 24th.
Treasure Island will be the scene for two popular performers. First, country music’s legendary Charley Pride will perform on April 10th; then, on April 24th, you can hear Huey Lewis and the News.
Finally, ending the month is the annual 100-Mile Garage Sale. Red Wing is the starting point for this annual event.

February is a great month in Red Wing. If you enjoy music, Leo Kottke is playing the Sheldon Theatre on February 6th. If comedy is your thing then check out the latest rendition of Late Night Catechism on February 13th, also at the Sheldon. February is also when hundreds of bald eagles migrate into the Mississippi Valley. Beginning February 20th, visit Colville Park, right in Red Wing, and view these magnificent birds up close and personal.
