The National Trust for the Preservation of Historic places chooses 12 cities throughout the United States as the top tourist destinations. Red Wing was chosen as one of the twelve. Living here, we see everyday the fabulous geography that includes the Mississippi River and scenic bluff country. We shop in the historic downtown where most buildings date to the 1870’s. We take walks in Red Wing’s historic neighborhood where homes, like the 1874 Moondance Inn, are located. Take a look at the link we have posted and consider taking a trip to Red Wing this year. http://www.nationaltrust.org/dozen_distintive_destinations/2008/Red-Wing/
