Bald Eagles Migrate Over Red Wing

Bald Eagle in Winter

Bald Eagle in Winter,
originally uploaded by mwaulk.

It is bald eagle migration time. Each year from the middle of February through the middle of March, hundreds of them migrate up the Mississippi River Valley through Red Wing. It is an amazing sight. Eagle spotting tents are set up in Colville Park; binoculars are available. Stay at the Moondance Inn Bed and Breakfast. We can guide you to the eagle sighting as well as to other happenings in the area.

PS. Dont’s forget Girlfriends Day Out on February 19. See our previous blog for the link to take you there.
